Chemical Composition(mass fraction)%
Cryolite is the white sand-like powder of which the specific gravity is 2.95-3.01 g/cm3 and the melting point is about 1000℃.It’s slightly soluble in the water but not soluble in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride. The content of its crystal water will be decreased with the increasing of the molecular ratio, therefore its loss on ignition will be also decreased with the increasing of the molecular ratio.
Cryolite is mainly used as the solvent in electrolysis of aluminum salt and also applied in the domains below: the milky white agent, sunscreens and flux for the production of glass and enamel; Agricultural Pesticides; flux in aluminum alloy casting; The production of ferroalloy and boiling steel; Wear-resistant filler for resin rubber.
The Product is packed in woven PP bags with plastic film inside. Each bag has net weight of 25kgs, 50kgs, 500kgs and 1000kgs.
